Sandy R Posted April 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2004 Sarita... you're going to have a wonderful time. Anything you haven't already thought of... you can do without! If you have PC dining, make reservations for the week, when you first board... I'm sure you've been reading all the posts about PC. Use the concierge button on your cabin phone and if that's busy, go to the area opposite Sabatini's where a table will be set up... at least that's where it was when we sailed on 3/13. Oh, are you bringing some sort of seasick remedy? Dramamine - less drowsy formula, always works for me. Sandy R

srphnx Posted April 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2004 I bring a small plug in fan.. the cabin can get stuffy from showers and other bathroom activites, it is so small that a $20 walmart clip type 6 inch fan can make a BIG difference. We Sail her in 9 days.... so leave her in good condition if you would. Alaska Diamond Princess 05/04 Mercury 06/02 Rhapsody o.t. Seas 05/98 Legend o.t. bostongal Posted April 9, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Have a drink for all of us on land! Enjoy your cruise and walk around the ship taking it all in. Take pictures of the ship - you'll be glad that you did. Nightlight, highlighter and post-its are my things that I must have. Enjoy! Meg Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do then by the ones you did. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. MouseMan Posted April 9, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Always, always, try the drink of the day. Keep a positive attitude, have a cockatil. Pack less clothes and more money. Have a cocktail. Be daring and try new foods that you might not normally get the chance to savor. Did I mention have a cocktail. HAPPY CRUISING!!!!!! chicgotgame Posted April 9, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I am sailing with you on April 10th.........I'm so excited!! My kids 16 and 14 packed way too much stuff, hopefully they will learn the joy of simplicity sometime. They do have to carry their own bags.I am bringing walkie talkie's to keep track of everyone, sunscreen and ziplock bags just in case I need them. I've heard Lysol wipes are a good idea also,to wipe down the cabin on arrival. Are you doing any excursions? I am doing Randi's horses and the Hideaway in PV......Happy Sailing...
