Rare peanutzmom Posted September 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Is it possible to move a reservation with another TA to Carnival? If so, how? DH& I have always reserved directly through Carnival, but they were sold out of balcony guarantees on the Carnival website for our Dec. 17th trip on the Triumph. We were able to get a balcony guarantee through Travelocity.com, so we went ahead and booked through them. I really prefer having a PVP that I can call up or e-mail to get all of my questions answered, make changes to seating preferences, etc. So, has anybody moved a reservation over to a Carnival PVP? How did it work?
GottaLuvCruising Posted September 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Your TA would have to agree to release the booking. That won't happen.
GoinCruisin Posted September 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2005 You would have to cancel your cruise and then book with Carnival... If you are outside any of the cancellation penalties, and the prices are the same, check it out...
HeidiHo Posted September 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Your current TA may charge you a cancellation fee if you move your booking to Carnival.
