Cruzer-Two, thanks for the fantastic slide show! We will be in Quebec City in October, and will be using the HOHO bus after disembarking the ship. We will take a cab to our hotel to drop off our luggage, then would like to catch the HOHO bus at a stop near our hotel, not the Place d'Armes. Do you know if this is possible, especially if we purchase our tickets online before our trip?

Thanks for your help!

As already mentioned a few posts above they sell tickets on the buses. Never seen a HOHO anywhere that did not allow this - the entire point of the concept is that you can get on and off anywhere, so forcing people to buy tickets at only one of the stops would cause a lot of complaints!

For companies where the drivers do not have credit card machines on every vehicle, e.g. the Trolley here in Vancouver, there are 'floating' staff who board the buses, run CCs for those who need them, then get off and wait for the next bus to repeat.

Deanna, you can get on the bus at any of the stops provided there are seats available. You can pay onboard as well. The departure point and the stop near the port are the most popular boarding places. Some people at the port stop were not accommodated on the first bus the day we did the tour, but I'm sure that later buses had space. Have fun!
