jazncruiser Posted September 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Ok, we are new to CC, what is a subscription and how do you subscribe?
tomc Posted September 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Send me $10 in cash... (joke). You're here; that's it. Start reading, start posting, join the fun. Read the Guidelines (on the bar right above the ad) and enjoy yourself. We're open 24 hours a day, with the exception of times when the board acts up (it's not you; it's the board). Any questions? jhannah Posted September 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2005 If you post on a thread, you are "subscribed" to that thread. On the pages listing threads you will see a check mark over at the right side of the thread title box. That means you're subscribed to that thread due to a post or posts to it. trubey Posted September 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Jim,, isn't that an option through your User Profile? I don't have mine set up that way. susana.
tomc Posted September 18, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2005 ooops; in my rush to get a newbie to help pay for my next cruise, I forgot about the "subscription" feature. I haven't used it in a long time. I just rely on the little box next to the thread name to remind me that I posted there; the thread jumping to the top (or at least high on the page, depending when I last checked CC) tells me someone has added their sage advice recently. jazncruiser Posted September 25, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted September 25, 2005 Thanks guys, I wasn't sure and when I go to the Search in the 2nd blue title bar it tells me I'm not subcribed to any forum. Patti
