love my grandkids Posted July 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Rather pricey for a working vacation. Think we will wait for regular cruises.

mykeb14 Posted July 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I love the idea of helping under developed areas but for the cost it is no where in the budget.
rtap23 Posted July 7, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I am definitely going to take a look at it. My parents are Cuban and I was able to visit as a child but have not been able to go since the embargo. It's been a long time coming and hopefully we will be able to visit in a more traditional type of Cruise
serene56 Posted July 7, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Its not a cruise like a passenger ship. http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=6393 but like posted-- rather pricey for a working vacation. Pricing, which includes all volunteer excursions, training, related supplies, taxes, fees and port expenses, begins at $230 per person per night for a cabin with a window, so a weeklong cruise for two will cost $3,220.
