olvrxyzh Posted July 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Can anybody give me walking directions on the best route to take from Pike Place Market to Pier 66 with a wheelchair? Thanks!
dsrdsrdsr Posted July 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2015 There is a lift (elevator) from Pike Place Market down to sea level. That will be your first move, to avoid the hills. From there, turn left or right as appropriate to find pier 66 - my not-so-local knowledge doesn't extend that far, but no doubt Google will help. xxoocruiser Posted July 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2015 In addition to what's been stated in the previous post you might consider contacting the Seattle Tourism Office. http://www.visitseattle.org/visitor-information/
Putterdude Posted July 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) I would post this on one of the West Coast forums. I have no idea when you will be visiting Pike Place Market but I can tell you that on weekends and holidays it is wall to wall people and people just move a step or two at a time. You may find manoeuvring in the throng of people a bit difficult. Edited July 8, 2015 by Putterdude
