Embarkation email/call

I know people have been getting those emails for your embarkation time. I received one last month for the sunshine and just went at my normal time anyway. However, today they have called me on my cell and home phones which they have never done before to let me know I cannot come on before my time(from 2-3). We have to be dropped off at 10 so the thought of sitting around for 4 hours is not pleasing. I would normally blow it off but the calls were new and strange. Any thoughts?

I would still go as planned, but arm myself with snacks and drinks just in case. I've yet to read where they have a coordinated check in time to correlate with the times suggested.
