Quiet spots on Breakaway

I like cruising, but I often need to get away from crowds. The 2 previous cruises I've been on, I managed to find places to get away from everyone. On the Norwegian Dawn years back it was the Spinnaker Lounge up front..no one was in there during the day on the ocean, so I could read, have a drink, and watch the ocean in this huge space with a handful of other people.

Are there areas like this on the Breakaway? I'm also a bit worried about the smoke situation in the atrium...this looks like it could be a good spot, but I hate cigarette smoke for multiple reasons so unless it has been exaggerated in reviews, I'll probably avoid that area.

Is the Uptown Grill still a good out of the way spot, or has word gotten out about it?

I don't remember smelling smoke in the atrium area but we did many other places near the casino. I agree the library is a good spot.

Outside in the late afternoon the very top sundeck which was midship/forward was deserted and very nice.

I think you'll find a good spot while you're onboard. ENJOY!!

The uptown grill is only crowded when its nice and sunny otherwise it perfectly quiet in the evening and when its windy and/or rainy. There's the waterfront and library as others suggested plus the front of the ship on deck 16 /17 (wherever the buffet is on plus devks above) is also pretty quiet during the daytime as well.

The atruim smoke smell depends on how bad you can't stand it - I'll admit, the casino on deck 7 can get pretty strong at times. At least one can avoid it majority of the time by using the Waterfront to bypass the odor.
