HollandAvery Posted July 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Hey there, I was curious to know if anyone had the American Table Port of Call menus for Galveston or Jamaica (Montego Bay) Do these even exist? We are booked in the steakhouse on the first night but if the menu has some good stuff on the first night I may change our reservations, as there is one night that the menu in the MDR isn't looking too appealing and we'd rather just eat in the steakhouse...we may do two night in the steakhouse, but don't want to if we don't have to. I was also curious to know what the Jamaica Port of Call menu would look like.

lowbass Posted July 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2015 We recently were on the Liberty 7 day Caribbean cruise 6/21-6/28. They had the American table port of call menu. There was always a special drink(for purchase), entree and desert on the menu for each night we were in different port. Personally speaking, it was mostly a miss for the food served on the menu. The items sounded good but the actual food was not up to par. My complaint was the lack of seasoning in the food. Some of the Caribbean dishes that were on the menu were meant to be spicy. Upon tasting them, they were very bland and under seasoned. We felt that if it was there goal to make a dish to represent an island or country, then make it like the locals do. And if it's spicy then put the warning on the menu and let the waiters warn those that order the dish too.
