rnargo Posted July 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2015 As many of you know, the Seattle Waterfront is under construction while the seawall is getting rebuilt. Most businesses were closed for about 8-9 months while they did a good portion of this work. As of July 1st all of the businesses are open and construction has taken a break for the summer. I was down there on Saturday evening. It definitely still looks like a construction zone, but everything is open. While I was down there I went to the newly remodeled Ivars Acres of Clams (they took advantage of the closure). It is gorgeous!! Also, they have Happy Hour in the bar area from 3pm to close everyday! Argosy Cruises just posted a sped up video on their Facebook page today (7/13/15) that gives you a bit of an idea of what the waterfront looks like this summer. Casagordita Posted July 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Thank you for sharing that! It really helps me understand what work they have and haven't finished, and what's now open and accessible as of July 1.
Rare Banditswife Posted July 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Thank you for posting. It's been several years since we were in Seattle. We'll be back next year though.
