Exciting Deals & Go Big Offer

I am looking to book a last minute good rate for a cruise to Bermuda in August 2015. I got an email with Exciting Deals and I clicked on the cruise that interests me. I went to do a fake booking to see the rates and there is a green box on the top that says "Go Big on Oceanview & Up" I called Celebrity and they said exciting deals would not include the Go Big Offer. It also says the Exciting Deal are not combinable with other offers in the fine print. So why would there be the green box that says "go Big on Oceanview and Up" ? Website error? If I got the Go Big I would probably book today.

No GoBig on Exciting Deals, transatlantics, etc. That little green box is on all cruises that I've looked at. So you have a choice between a bargain rate or paying more to get more. . .choice is yours. . .

Thanks for quick reply. I knew it was too good to be true. The rates are really good so we may make a last minute decision.

You should contact a travel agent and see if you can get some on board credit with your booking. Since its past final payment, don't book directly with celebrity since its too late to transfer to a TA. Some of the large Internet TAs should provide something. Worth a few phone calls. Good luck!

 

(PS. I am waiting for the cruise I'm following to show up on the Exciting Deals so I'm in the same boat, so to speak!)
