Liberty & Conquest - Noise Question?

I've read that the upper deck on both the Liberty and Conquest can hear lots of noise from the disco and casino. Does anyone have experience with the Empress Deck (deck 7)? Does noise from the disco, casino, public areas reach up to the Empress Deck? It seems to be the best deck, in that it is sandwiched between two decks of cabins. Any experiences would be appreciated. Only certain areas of the upper deck have noise problems if you look at the deck plans for the promenade deck and avoid the cabins DIRECTLY over bars and the casino, you should have no problems. The empress deck is another option noise from the promenade does not reach that far.
