Yes or No to Carnival Dream steakhouse

We have done the Steakhouse on the Dream and recommend it. We have also done the Steakhouse on every ship we've sailed that has one. (Miracle, Legend, Sunshine, Conquest, Glory, Pride.)

I have been taking my daughter to the steakhouse since she was 8, she loves it and it gives me a chance to show her that she is special. I take her to get her nails and hair done, take some pictures then we have a meal where we can talk. The only problem I have had with her is the time she requested ketchup for her filet.

In our honest opinion?

 

No.

 

And I am sure the 3 table mates with us recently on the Breeze would agree. Same quality you would get at Applebees. Better than the main dining room but not worth the premium price.

 

After 33 cruises we have found that anything that is tagged "exclusive" does not necessarily mean better.

Its just a nickel/dime thing the cruise lines created.

Probably started as a pilot program to see if people would fall for it. SMH :confused:

 

The ship dining room suits us just fine

Outstanding food, lobster was excellent along with the beef and pork chops. I don't think the age your kids are they will be a problem. But you know them better than us.

 

Also try the Chef's Table one night it was as outstanding as the Steak House, but in a different way.
