Change of levels from Emerald to Diamond in the middle of a B2B

Recommended Posts

We are doing a B2B next Spring and at the end of the first leg, we will attain Diamond status. Will we get the perks for our second leg? I know it usually takes a few weeks after a cruise to show up in our account, but can this be done onboard?

We reached Diamond in between the 2 legs of a B2B. Went to the loyalty ambassador on Day 1 of the 2nd cruise and he put Diamond stickers on our Seapass cards and gave us the new coupon books (when they still used coupons). We did have to take the Emerald coupon books back to him. We enjoyed the extra perks of being Diamond on that cruise. I think we had talked to the LA prior to the 2nd leg to find out what we had to do to get our Diamond status on the 2nd cruise.

It would also be a good idea for you to take a printout of your existing C&A level and days cruised with you - it will save your loyalty ambassador from trying to look it up.

Enjoy your trip!

The LA may be an option, but you might also want to see the Diamond Club Concierge, which is what we did. A couple of clicks, and we were Diamond for the entire length of the cruises. It likely varies from concierge to concierge, but if one of them can do it, all have the ability. Enjoy!
