new years in san juan

will be in san juan for new years eve post cruise. we're staying at the caribe hilton ( 8 of us 4 younger teens). what can we do in san juan? can i make reservations? are there fire works anywhere? i posted the same thing on the san juan board.

yup. it looks like it's me and you!!! i've started sooooo many threads attempting to find other people on our cruise that it's almost funny! anyway, i know WE'LL have a good time. still looking for something to do on new years though......

We will be there beginning Dec 30 for a pre cruise stay for three days, have asked the same questions, looking forward to see what you find out.

Many of the Hotels have celebrations in their lobbies on New Year's Eve. They do ask for reservations and there is a charge just to ring in the New Year in their lobby. Of course I believe if you are staying at the hotel they waive it. I did a New Year's at the El San Juan Hotel. It was very nice, everyone was dressed to the nines. Latin band playing, champagne at midnight, hats, noise makers were included. I would call the Caribe Hilton and find out what they have planned.
