Need Info on Traveller's Rum Heritage Center Tour

I'm interested in checking out the Heritage Center and museum, but haven't convinced DW yet. We will have our then 13 month old daughter with us so our concern is how easy it will be to get to the center and back to the tourist village.

 

Has anyone been to the Heritage center? Comments? Does anyone know of a tour or excursion that would include it? Any help would be appreciated.

It's reasonably close, Under 3 miles, up the Northern Highway toward the airport. You're about a 1/2 mile from the beach/park with the colorful Belize sign mentioned in a thread below. There are some reviews on TA, you can google and check out. I've never been there. Not sure if they do self tours. But if you head there on your own, get the taxi to wait for you.

Thought I'd pull this one back up for one last week!

 

Does anyone know if there is a trolley tour that maybe does the city in addition to the heritage center? I have seen comments and reviews of one that is affiliated with Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, but there is no other mention of one. Thanks!
