Why doesn't the Paradise go to San Diego?

I just got back from a great trip on RCCL's Monarch of the Seas which went to San Diego, Catalina Island and Ensenada. I have cruised with CCL and RCCL a couple of times each and love both (bash away die hards) but would like to take this cruise again on the Paradise (Catalina, Ensenada and Sea Day) but I loved San Diego too much to skip it. Any ideas as to why CCL doesn't stop there?

Thanks,

Amy
