Beach Chairs on bus?

My hubby and I plan to take our beach chairs with us since I've read about how fast horse shoe bay can run out of rentals. If we take the shuttle or bus, would this be ok? Has anyone had any problems or experience with this? Our chairs fold up like an umbrella.

I have never encountered them running out of chairs and I have been there many times. What I have seen is issues with umbrellas. Of late they have not been renting umbrellas with a sign saying it was because of wind conditions. And others have reported the same. It didn't seem particularly windy to me. So I wonder if they have a shortage of umbrellas this season and are using the wind as an excuse. So if you need shade from the sun I would take umbrellas not chairs. As long as they don't take a seat I don't think there is an issue with taking chairs or umbrellas on the bus.
