Question on name on documents to board

I am taking a NCL cruise next year and have a question on boarding documents. How do they handle shorter version of names when matching drivers license with birth certificates for board? For example, my legal name is Bradley but my drivers license says Brad. Will I be denied boarding because both documents don't match the first name of Bradley?

Strange state you live in. Where I live, your DL name has to match the documentation. Or, do I just live in a police state? Hmmm.

If I were you I would call your TA or NCL. Just to play it safe.

I always recommend getting a passport anyway. Even though you can get onboard with a DL and BC. If you or a member of your party need to end your journey prematurely. That Passport becomes your best friend.
