We just got off the Viking Ocean Star homeland cruise. Loved it! Beautiful ship and wonderful itenary. :)

Hourtime - suggest you look under the "Reviews" section of CruiseCritic, then type in Viking Oceans and then pick the Star as the ship. There's lots of reviews from people who've been on the cruise. Most of them are positive - and some negative. It will give you a better overall feel I think than the couple of folks who might respond to your question. Or, there's a thread on here called "On Board the Viking Star" that you'd have to scroll down a bit to find that will give you the real time feedback from the first inaugural cruise, but I would suggest the "Reviews" tab to give you more recent comments.

Read the thread above about the serious injuries on board the Star. There is not enough money to pay me to cruise on that Ship.It has lots of problems including exploding glass shower doors and break downs. The customer service has been terrible too.
