acarithers0919 Posted July 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Our ship gets back into Miami at 8AM and we'll probably be off the boat by 9 or 10AM. We don't need to be at the Ft. Lauderdale until 2:00PM. Is there anything to do before heading to the FLL airport? If yes, where would we store our luggage?

Quite often the cruise line will have excursions, which include luggage transport and airport drop-off for folks with time to kill before a flight. kelkel2 Posted July 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2015 I also suggest you look at the ship excursions for your disembarkation port. There usually are plenty of excursions to choose from. Usually theres a beach day, a tour, etc. They will also hold your luggage. You could also look into doing luggage express with the cruise line and then doing something on your own. With luggage express, once you put your luggage out the night before you don't see it again until you land at your final destination. Of course that is offered for a fee, and it's not offered for all airlines.
Viv0828 Posted July 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) You could look into a one way car rental and stop at a few sights along the way from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Edited July 30, 2015 by Viv0828
Miller_KC Posted July 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2015 We've done the South Beach and the Everglades tour. Both were good but I liked the Everglades better. After a guided tour the South Beach stops and gives you 1-2 hours to eat, shop, or visit the beach. The Everglades included an airboat ride.
