What do you use to attach the decorations to the door?

I picked up a few of those 3M removable hooks and cheap window clings. We traveled last year over Halloween so I had clings in that theme. I had also brought magnets and literally cried when I discovered the door was not metal after all.... :(

We use mounting putty (aka Fun Tak or Ticky Tack) and have found it to be easily removable and reusable, and it doesn't leave any residue. We've used it on the cabin door, walls and ceilings to mount various decorations.

Command Strips, Hooks, and Poster putty. Make sure you take some Clorox wipes with you and clean door first b/c the cleaner the stewards use has a oily residue that can make it hard to get the stuff to stick. I also made sure to wipe it down after I took my decorations down to make sure nothing was left behind.

Will magnets work on the doors

I use the command Velcro strips on my Texas flag I put on our door and it all stays together for the next cruise, it also helps us find the door fast. Magnets have never worked for us. Happy cruising
