Travel To Be Free Posted August 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2015 We love waterside restaurants. A lot of pictures show a yellow building on the left side of beach. Is this a restaurant? If so, do you know the name. I read about a restaurant, Tapas, in Hastings. Is this on this beach?
macaroni Posted August 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I believe it is champers...just up from the beach....tapas is in the opposite direction, when facing beach, along the boardwalk...
Travel To Be Free Posted August 3, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Champers looks nice. Any idea of approximate prices on lunch menu for hamburger or something light? How far is this Coconut Court Beach Hotel by chance? Is the hotel to the north or south? (Had thought of having taxi take us to that part of the beach as there were so many beautiful palms, which is what we really like... new views.) The only thing I'm not sure of is if they will rent loungers on the beach to us if we're not guests of their hotel. Does anyone happen to know? cruisingbajan Posted August 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) Depending on the direction you are travelling in as well to "the left of the beach" is also a local fast food restaurant called Chefette where you can get burgers and fries as a part of a very varied menu. You can find a menu for Champers at champersbarbados.com and Tapas at tapasbarbados.com Edited August 4, 2015 by Bajan Keith

cruisingbajan Posted August 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Thanks!! Appreciate the help... No problem. I just realized that I did not respond to your query about Coconut Court. You will actually pass this property before you reach the Accra Beach area. It's in an area called Hastings. Travel To Be Free Posted August 8, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted August 8, 2015 Where is best place to get dropped off to at Hastings Beach to be close to the Coconut Court Beach Hotel? The beach looks beautiful with all the palms. Do they rent loungers there or are they just for hotel guests?

I am not sure if they rent loungers but you can always asked a question at the reception area. All beaches in Barbados are public beaches. The animal known as "Private Beach" does not exist here so no one can deny you beach access. The chairs and umbrellas however are private property.
