Seatrade Insider is reporting that the 116,000 GT, 3100-passenger vessel (same size as CB/Crown/Emerald) currently on order with Fincantieri for delivery in 2008 will go to P&O, not to Princess, and be named Ventura. Here's a link to the article (free login required):

Hobson, get out of my brain! :D

I think this leaves one ship left unnamed that's on order with Fincantieri for Carnival Corp. It will be 110,000 GT and hold 2794 passengers, so the same size as the Carnival Freedom, and it's due to be delivered in the spring of 2008. Carnival Corp. has no orders for anytime after that, as far as I know.

I posted this on the other thread, but I’ll put it here too. The rationale for moving Royal Princess to P&O was that the British wanted a more traditional cruising experience than the North Americans. Interesting that a Caribbean Class ship will go to P&O. I guess money - specifically Euros - changes everything.
