Muster on the Grand Priincess

Here's a long shot...for anyone who has been on the Grand to ALASKA this summer ....at what time were the muster drills?

We would like to wave away our son, DIL and grand kids from Canada Place Aug 15 but sometimes muster is at the same time as sail away and if so that wouldn't work.

Any help would be wonderful.

Muster is scheduled for 45 minutes before sail away. That being said, depending upon how embarkation is going, and what time sail away might actually be (delayed?) the muster drill might be postponed so that almost all passengers have boarded, and/or sailaway might be delayed so that all luggage and stores have been loaded.

You might be able to wave good-bye, one suggestion would to have them head to Stanley Park and watch for the ship from the shoreline. If you are on deck on the port side of the ship as she departs Vancouver you will be able to wave goodbye - just not exactly from the pier.

Thanks for your replies...it sounds a bit iffy and I don't want them to rush trying to get on deck (they are the ones sailing) to see us after muster.

We'll just drop them off at the pier, have a nice long lunch at the Fairmont and then arrange to wave them goodbye after they have settled in.
