formal night on 7 day cruise. Carnival Fantasy

I'm wondering when the formal night is on a 7 day cruise. I was told by someone that it is the dinner on the first full day at sea. Can anyone confirm this. I've never been one to get all dressed up but I'm married now and my wife like to to get dressed up occasionally.

There are 2 formal nights on a 7 day cruise. Most have the 1st on the first full day, and the second the night before the last full day. Sometimes they shift a day or 2 to try and make them on sea days but not always.

Heads up... Elegant night is getting more casual every year. You are more than welcome to go all out, but most will wear nice "church clothes" :)
