Cabana at Grand Turk-Magaritaville

I have reserved a Cabana for my upcoming cruise! I am sun challenged (LOL) thought this might guarantee me some shade! I have never done this before...can someone give me hints or tips on how to get the best out of having it?

I rented a cabana last December it was okay. Some of the cabanas had good shade. The one I I had did not. I suggest you get there early and request one with shade.

Since Princess offers cabanas in Grand Turk on their excursion list, asking here is fine. :)

Skip Margaritaville and go 500yds up the beach to Jack's Shack. You won't regret it.

 

When you exit the cruise center walk left.

We rented a cabana last year in Grand Turk. All of the cabanas have a front porch that is covered so you will not be in the sun. There is air conditioning that works very well and it has a couch and table. It locks so you can leave your belongings safely inside while you go to the pool, beach or wherever.

 

My DH is sun challenged also and while it was a little pricey, he loved having it.
