Jewel OTS January 2016 - pre cruise hotel?

I've only stayed in the Old Town but as RCCL doesn't sail from that location a bit lost what would be a good 4* choice?

 

I keep seeing the Condado area recommended?

If you like resorts and beaches, there is plenty to choose from in the Condado and Isla Verde areas.

If you prefe. To stay close to the port, check out the Sheraton convention center and the Hyatt House.

We went on tripadvisor and got an apartment in Ocean Park. We plan on starting our vacation at the beach before boarding the cruise. It was much less than a hotel room.
