CB Mini suite quad configuration question

Hi everyone,

 

We will be on the Caribbean Princess on 2/11/06 and will be in a quad Minisuite (D731) with our kids. The question I have is about the sofa:

 

Does it pull out into a pull-out double sofa, or does it convert to a single like a day bed?

 

Is the bunk above the sofa? Does it come down parallel to the sofa (Ie, one whole side of the bunk will be against the wall), or is it perpendicular to the sofa (ie, only the head portion is against the wall?

 

I ask because I am wondering if we will be able to get out onto the balcony if the kids are asleep. :D

Here are some pictures I took of our cabin, E731 on the CB. Our 2 teen age girls were with us in the cabin. It worked great! Hope the pictures help.

One thing I can't tell though ... can you walk around the pull out sofa and get to the balcony? On our cruise on the Constellation it was impossible because the end of the sofa bed was against the opposite wall (talk about tight). It kind of defeated the purpose of having the balcony, because the only way to get out there, was to walk over our sleeping child. :eek:

There is enough room at the foot of the pull out sofa to get to the sliding door, but it is an "obstacle course" as the coffee table and chair are also in that space.
