koss78b2 Posted August 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2015 Like to ask if many Solo cruises go on Costa and are we welcome?
Dancer Bob Posted August 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) The number of solos seems to about the same as on other cruise lines. I've always been well-treated by the staff, but I am often the only English-speaking solo. The cruise staff do dance with solo travelers, which is rare or unknown on most other lines. marybor Posted August 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2015 Thanks for that bit of info. I'm considering going on Costa next month and am delighted to learn that cruise staff dance with passengers, as they do on MSC and NCL. So Costa, here I come! Dancer Bob Posted August 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I have a UK friend who's been able to get some good prices on Costa, I don't know exactly where. I got a very good price on Diadema in November, she was able to find something almost as good. She was originally Cunard but found she liked the nightlife on Costa. Although the cruise staff aren't officially dance hosts, they can dance as well as most of Cunard's, and are a half-century younger.
Bill B Posted August 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I cruise solo and find all cruise lines welcoming... so long as I pay for it. ;)
