I checked this morning - showing sold out. Then a couple hours later I was able to get 5 of them, then they showed sold out again. I figured I will keep checking off and on and see if any more reappear. My final payment is not due until Nov so I can keep stalking!

Go to your verizon rewards. Then look at gift cards. Or search for carnival.

I'm approaching final payment on my cruise. Say if I buy 12 cards, When applying payment on Carnival's website, I see you can apply a gift card. They will ask you for each bar code on each card or there is a limit? I was wondering how that worked.

I recently used 26 cards to pay off an Alaskan cruise for next summer, it took me maybe 20 minutes.

Yes, they will ask you for the card # on each card. If I remember correctly, you can only apply 8 cards in any one transaction. However, they don't stop you from applying 8, then starting another transaction to apply the balance.

 

I paid for one cruise (a 12 day that was later canceled) with 27 cards. I had to make the payments in multiple sessions/transactions, but it is permitted.
