Cellen Posted September 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2005 Just curious, does the Upgrade Fairy only visit customers of Princess who have booked in the USA, or do British, Australian or other International passengers who have booked through Princess or Agents in their own countries ever get upgraded? Pam in CA Posted September 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2005 The Upgrade Fairy is fickle. There's absolutely no telling where she'll wave her magic wand. The default for bookings is to agree to an Upgrade. If you like your cabin, make sure your TA marks your booking as "No upgrade." Sometimes, an upgrade isn't that much of an upgrade. It's usually a cabin in the same category or one level above that's closer to the middle of the ship. Most upgrades aren't from one type (inside) to another (outside) but they do happen. cruisetmc Posted September 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Last November we received an inside to outside upgrade and loved it. I don't think anyone truly knows how/who get the upgrades but I've sure enjoyed them.

We're Canadian and we got upgraded from a inside to obstructed ocean view! We were thrilled.
