Buying Black Coral In Cozumel

Going to Cozumel in a couple weeks and am interesting in maybe purchasing some black coral jewelry while I'm there. I was reading that this is the local specialty. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for, where to buy, and what the going rate is. Thanks! :)

Roberto's black coral is where you want to go. It's right downtown, on the corner of Salas and 5 Avenida, under Prima's restaurant. It is all genuine black coral at his shop. Sorry, don't know the price.

It's about a ten minute walk from CnC's. From CnC's walk along the waterfront with the ocean on your left. Turn right when you get to A.R. Salas (that's the name of the street). Viva Mexico is a large store on that corner. Walk one block and Roberto's is on the left. Prices probably range from $10 for a small piece to many hundreds (possibly thousands) of dollars for a black coral sculpture.
