Late Excursion and Dinner Options

Hi All

 

I am looking to book an excursion in San Juan that will not return till 9:15-9:30 in the evening. This is a Celebrity sponsored excursion.

 

We have select dining, and I believe there is a 9:30 reservation time which we could book. The specialty restaurants will take a 10pm reservation, but since we also have an early excursion the following day, I would prefer not to spend the extra money that night.

 

Two questions:

1. Given we will need to change before dinner (it's a kayaking excursion), if we happen to get to the main dining room late (ie 9:45) will we still be able to be seated in the main dining room
   
2. If we talk to our cabin stewart, would it be possible to pre-order a main dining room dinner to be delivered to our cabin. We are not suite, so I know it will all just be delivered at once.
