OBC pre pay?

Hi, I m sorry for asking such a newbie question, but here goes? I would like to know how long I have to pre pay my OBC? Do I have until my final payment is due or do I have until closer to the start my cruise? I am pre paying with the favorable rate they gave on Canadian. I would I lose that once I board and pay anything extra with my CC. I just want to make sure I don't miss out.

Can't answer the currency exchange but I definitely tell you can buy OBC until the day/night before sail way. Also, if you don't use all of it (since its refundable), they will mail you a check back to whatever address you have on file.
