Large Van Parking

We have a small group cruising out of Galveston in November. If we drive a 15 passenger van will Carnival let us park it at the terminal? And if so will they charge more?

We want to check this out before we put money down on the van.

Also just FYI, Carnival doesn't have anything to do with the parking. It is run by the Port if you park there, or several other lots that have shuttles.

You probably have already found this out, but I figured that I would post anyway. I drive a 15 passenger van everyday and they do not take up more than one parking spot, nor are they counted as a "large vehicle" for the purpose of parking fees :)

I parked with the official port parking once, never again....

 

Our preferred independent is Galveston Park N Cruise across the street from the port, no shuttle bus, but easy walk and you can drop off luggage before parking, we have also used Lighthouse with mixed feelings about them, mostly the employees gave off a vibe about not being happy to be there.
