dioxide45 Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Guess I should have asked about this place before we booked the excursion :o. We booked through ShoreExcursioneer. Does anyone have any experience with this AI? Looks to be a large hotel/resort that is selling day passes. Do they limit the number of day passes that they sell? I would think so since they don't really want to inhibit the experience of hotel guests that have probably paid a lot of money to stay there. What is the food like? PROBERT1 Posted August 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2015 We plan on booking day passes at the Occidental Grand Cozumel for our cruise in October. Never have been to the Resort, but stayed at the Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta back in May. It was a nice resort and the food was a little above average relative to the other AI we have stayed at. Hoping for the same experience in Cozumel.
megaj5 Posted April 22, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2016 We booked the day pass with shore excursion & enjoyed the day. We took a taxi with another couple and they gave us towels and a wrist band. This gave us AI privileges at the resort. It had a lovely beach and 2 pools & the staff was very nice bringing us drinks. Their lunch had a good choice of options. The front desk had a taxi ready to take us back to the port pier 2 hours before our cruise left Cozumel. We would recommend doing this in Cozumel. julesbeara Posted April 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) How much are the Day Passes? How far is the resort from the Royal Caribbean Ship pier? Edited April 23, 2016 by julesbeara
megaj5 Posted April 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2016 It cost us $45 pp for the day pass. We shared a taxi with another couple for $20. Very easy and had a fabulous relaxing day in Cozumel!
