shuttle bus in Civitavecchia

Hi All, I know the shuttle bus used to drop you at the port gates but am sure this changed and they used to drop you by the market in town, has anyone been recently and used the shuttle, is it easy to walk from the ship to the gates?

It's OK to walk unless you are docked at the end. We caught the bus in and walked back☺
