Rare kjquilts Posted September 1, 2015 #27 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Just bought 2 passes for Dawn repo.....179.00 pp We bought them too, thought $179 for 14 day cruise was very reasonable. The Dawn's spa isn't as fancy as some of the newer ships but still looks like a relaxing place.
CRAFTCRUISER Posted September 1, 2015 #28 Share Posted September 1, 2015 It was same price for 7 day back in May, and we didn't purchase.
oracer Posted September 1, 2015 #29 Share Posted September 1, 2015 For our cruise in July, the spa $20 off offer didn't open online until 30-45 days before sailing. The dining options opened at 90 days...
Justaddvodka68 Posted September 6, 2016 #30 Share Posted September 6, 2016 Do you think a day pass is available? You have to call and they'll sell you passes for less than a week. No 1 day, but 2 days and up. On the Gem 8 day cruise for instance, two days is $69, three is $79 and it adds $10 a day up to 6 days, then you might as well buy the unlimited. riddle Posted September 9, 2016 #31 Share Posted September 9, 2016 We've booked the spa many times. My DH would not cruise without it. That being said, the spas differ by ship. While we prefer the one on the Epic, generally the newer ships have the best spas. I think the Pearl is an exception and has a nice spa. There are many wonderful things about the spa. Some of the not so wonderfull things are: people getting into the thera pool and shouting to be heard over the sounds of the water, people draping towels over loungers and leaving them there. DH generally showered in the spa and I showered in the cabin. It allowed both of us to get ready for dinner at the same time.

jennburch Posted April 21, 2017 #35 Share Posted April 21, 2017 On the bigger ships book a spa balcony and the thermal pass is complimentary [emoji4] I booked it on the Gem this year for 139 online. Available to purchase at the 90 day mark Sent from my iPhone using Forums
hawkeyetlse Posted April 21, 2017 #36 Share Posted April 21, 2017 It usually works like that, but occasionally people report that for their cruise, the passes did not show up for sale until closer to sailing (see oracer's post above, and there have been more recent cases). If you don't see anything at 90 days, call NCL, and/or ask on your roll call if anyone else is able to purchase them.
Love.II.Cruise Posted April 22, 2017 #37 Share Posted April 22, 2017 We booked our passes in advance and by the time we were on board, all passes were sold out and they had no daily passes. This may have been due to a cruise that had more sea days than port days. I think it really depends on the cruise itinerary and specific customer wants. Haven can reserve 100 days out and the rest at 90 days.
hawkeyetlse Posted April 23, 2017 #38 Share Posted April 23, 2017 The Star has a larger mixed-sex area, including a small lap pool in addition to two heated pools, but it does not have the heated tile loungers. It also has two relaxation areas off to the sides with more padded loungers. The Jade has heated loungers in the mixed-sex area, and a thalasso pool, but the regular whirlpools are in the single-sex areas. There are no separate relaxation rooms; everything other than the heated loungers and the thalasso pool is in the single-sex areas.
