staying at atlantis. is there any point renting a mini cooper?

hi mates. four of us (wife, parents) are going to atlantis for a few days.

 

i really REALLY wanted to rent a scooter because i love them so much but my dad has decided if we are going to do anything like that, he'd rather just rent the mini cooper instead.

 

question is, is there any point to even renting a car for four hours? i am trying to figure out where we would even go. with a scooter i was planning on free roaming the east or west end.

 

with a car, the free roaming fun is sort of lost as the car is more of a purpose vehicle.

First off, I've never seen a mini cooper in Nassau.

 

Personally, I'd hire a cab (they are waiting our front) for a few hours and let them show you the town and some of the main areas.

Crime is an issue these days, and you don't want to end up in an area that's not safe. Let the professionals handle it.
