Opera 2/18 - Baseball Cruise

We're considering booking this cruise. Does anyone know who the baseball players booked are? I also have some MSC-related questions-- chief among them is: what's their liquor policy? can I [legally] bring aboard liquor? how about wine? is their a corkage fee? how about beer? I'd love to hear from those with MSC-Caribbean-related experiences. And I'd love to hear about the DR ports, as well!

 

Also... I did some preliminary searching for airfares and found them to be waaay out of line for these dates, traveling from PHL to FLL. Anybody have any ideas why that would be? Is it the effects of the hurricanes on fuel? President's "week" pricing?
