Hello everyone, after yrs of cruising with RC, we decided to try our Celebrity. I am in the process of booking excursions etc. My spouse and I are huge water drinkers & always buy a 1/2 case for a week. Is the water package REALLY $18.88/per person/per day/for water?????? What do you folks do???

If you prefer to drink bottled water, the most cost effective way is to buy a case of water in a grocery or drug store on shore before boarding the ship.

Then pick up some luggage tags at the pier, write your stateroom number on them, slap them on the case of water, and have it delivered to your stateroom along with the checked luggage.

DH only drinks water and herbal tea, and the occasional Gatorade or Ginger Ale cut half and half with water. Even with his massive water consumption we could never justify the water package price. As others have said pick up water at embarkation and have it delivered to your stateroom, then restock as needed in port and just carry the water on. Lately we've received the Classic Drink Package as a perk when booking, and that has saved us from having to carry water on board. Even though DH does not take advantage of the alcohol portion of the package it's still a good perk for him when it's a "throw in".
