momof4_tn Posted September 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Does anyone have copies of the children's menus in the specialty restaurants? Or has anyone who dined with children who could share their experience on what is offered? I'm mainly interested in Giovanni's. Thanks
sredish Posted September 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2015 I don't believe they have an actual children's menu printed...usually the waiter will just tell you the offerings available. It's typical burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, personal pizza, etc. I'm sure at the Italian restaurant there will be pasta dishes, mac n cheese, etc. My kids had zero problems getting their favorites. They asked, and they received!
tropiclvrs Posted September 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2015 We ate at Giovanni's alst month with our 8 and 10 year old. I can't remember exactly what was on the menu or even what they ordered but I think one got a pasta dish and the other chicken. They do NOT offer the typical junk kiddie menu food (thank goodness for that!), but they are offerings that would appeal to kids that do not mind going beyond the typical. My kids enjoyed what they had and didn't complain at all. Enjoy and it's well worth the $8 they charge.
jewel_beth Posted September 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2015 I don't remember what was on the kids menu, but there definitely was one. I do remember chicken noodle soup as an appetizer, though, because we all thought it was excellent! The waiter let my 11 year old order from the adult menu, though, and still only charged the $8. YMMV
jkrislc Posted September 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2015 There are specific menus for kids. I don't have a copy, but Giovanni's did offer a spaghetti and meatballs that was not on the regular menu. The one for Chops most resembled the adult menu with the large shrimp cocktail, petite filet, etc.
