Beachbaby1229 Posted September 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2015 Hi Everyone! My husband and I will be in San Juan before our Jan 2 cruise? Any idea what to do on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day? Thanks! I appreciate the help!

Gloobnib Posted October 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2015 we are doing the same thing and would love to know what to do New Year's eve Ditto. I'd love some input on things to do in/around old town and/or the convention center area. Also, I looked at the cruisett.com and it looks like there aren't *any* ships in port on 1/1/16. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.
doxie2cruise Posted November 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2015 We were in San Juan on New's Year's Eve 2013 and we stayed in Coranado, Plan on going to dinner very early on New Year's Eve. We walked several blocks in all directions and found only one restrant open after 6:00 pm. There was some kind of festival going on, the streets were full of people and vendors up and down Ashford Ave. It was almost like a street party. I can't tell you what or where to go. But I bet you could become part of the crowd on the street. Ask your hotel what are in the works also. We had children with us and leaving next day so no party for us. We did take girls out to shout happy New Year to the world at midnight.
