Dana57 Posted September 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Does anyone know how high the Westerdam is above the water line (aka air draft)? I have spent a lot of time trying to find this info with no results. Thanks in advance.
jtl513 Posted September 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Judging from pictures I would guesstimate 180 ft to the top of the stacks. . Edited September 21, 2015 by jtl513

Topsham Posted September 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Keel to top of funnels: 55800 mm (Steaming lights not included). NOTE: The figure.... 180 ft. (actually 183ft) .... is KEEL to TOP OF FUNNEL Draught: 8100 mm Air Draught: 47700 mm 156.5 ft. Eurodam class a bit higher ( taller funnels). Dana57 Posted September 21, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Thanks jtl513, Blue Mudshark & Topsham. Exactly what DH wanted to know. Appreciate the details Topsham! DH has never cruised, I haven't for more than 20 years and he was concerned how top heavy some ships seem to be and are. We are planning on Westerdam in Dec. Topsham Posted September 21, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Excellent. Good to be able to help. The WESTERDAM... a fine ship.... sturdy too.... and not top heavy at all. These ships hardly more these days..... unless you have stormy weather but stablizers.... they do a fine job. Have fun! Stephen
