Guest cruzr44 Posted September 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2005 I always get insurance. I was leaving 10/2 with my sister and parents. Well, I'm not going now because my otherwise very healthy husband came down with a very serious illness. We will all be getting $1,100 back. It doesn't have to be one of the travelers who becomes ill. Are your parents healthy? Would you have to cancel if one of them becomes ill? There are policies where children are free. I'm not sure which one it is. Someone I'm sure will know. Otherwise, you may want to check out http://www.insuremytrip.com
vmom Posted September 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Definately recommend it. As the previous poster recommended go to www.insuremytrip.com. We've always used Travelex but have heard good reports about the other insurance carriers.
