Chankanaab and Carnival

We will be stopping in Cozumel on our cruise in January. We want to go to Chankanaab but don't want to book through Carnival. Is it possible to take a taxi to the park and buy admission tickets? BTW, we are not swimming with the dolphins. How strict are they about using biodegradable sunscreen?

Yes - just grab a taxi and pay your admission fee (search on line for discount coupons).

 

Doubtful that anyone will check for biodegradable sunscreen, but it is the right thing to do. We have found some in the past at Walmart and it is available from Amazon.

From what I understand, the biodegradable sunscreen is MUCH less of a dolphin issue and much MORE of a reef issue- which makes it MORE critical, not less, if you're not swimming with the dolphins to use it.
