SoundDawg Posted September 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2015 I notice looking at some recent dailies that Splash Academy opens at 7:00pm and the early show starts at 7:00pm. That seems to make getting to the 7:00pm show on time impossible. Do they open the academy a couple of minutes before 7 or is it pretty much right on the dot? We have never cruised NCL so we are just trying to figure this out. Our son is 4 so going to the late show is not really an option as we are back in the cabin around then. Its almost always on the dot or a few minutes before (rare) or even after (less rare). Its never real early and usually there is a line. We planned on 7:30 dinners knowing that 7:00 on the dot was not likely to happen. I have never sailed on Gem but that is generally the pattern on other NCL ships. djmess Posted September 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Probably the best thing to do is to arrive to Splash Academy early, so you are the First in Line. Have another of your party go early to the show and save you a seat. Check in your child, then arrive to the show. You may miss a few minutes, but sometimes the beginning of the shows is the introduction and even them selling those raffel tickets, so you will probably be fine in not missing anything too important

If so, that would make it difficult to figure out where the seat saver is.
