carnival transportation from NOLA airport to port

Has anyone used their transportation from airport to port? Is it hard to find their location and do they wait awhile before their shuttle fills up? I asume they have a list with our name on it???????

To me if you have two or more people its just about as cheap to use a cab. I haven't done it in a few yrs but it seems like the shuttle was about 12 dollars a person and the cab is about 32 for two. But I may be wrong

Just got back today from the Elation

Cab from airport to the Pier or French Quarter is $36 for 1 or 2 or $15pp for 3 people +.

Also, From French Quarter to the pier is $16 for 1 or 2.

Both are flat fees.

I used the Carnival transfer from airport(MSY) to port (Dream) and also the return trip. (it's been a year.) I was surprised that we made a couple of stops at hotels along the way. So it took longer than I anticipated to get to the port.

However, after the cruise we went straight to the airport. If anyone was dropped off somewhere else, it was after the airport.

Taxi might work better for 2 or more.

Yes, they did wait a while to fill up the bus! I think they had a list, but I don't remember. It was also a fairly long walk to get to the bus, but a Carnival rep walked me there, not hard to find.
