Tipping in Casino?

I only play blackjack. A if the dealer is fun. Pleasant, entertaining and helpful to others. I tip a bet equal to the amount of my normal bet once every half hour or so. I try to do this when on a hot streak.

If I get a dealer that seems to enjoy taking money, or if they tell newbies that have a soft sixteen firmly "that it is a sixteen". Then I ignore tipping.

I play for entertainment. If I was playing for a profit I would bet differently. And be out of the casino in a short time. Win or lose.

But if you want to just play and enjoy it (the longer you play the better the house odds become). The dealer has to entertain.
